Jim Weiss

Jim Weiss has been a storyteller for over 30 years.

In June 2009, Jim’s company, Greathall Productions celebrated its 20th YEAR ANNIVERSARY in business.

Under the Greathall Productions label, Weiss has produced over 43 storytelling recordings with enticing titles such as King Arthur, Greek Myths, Sherlock Holmes, Galileo and the Stargazers.  In addition, Jim Weiss and Greathall Productions have produced and recorded masterful and thoughtful readings of G.A. Henty's, The Cat of Bubastes, Wulf the Saxon, The Young Carthaginian, In the Reign of Terror, Beric the Briton, In Freedom’s Cause, For the Temple, The Lion of the North, and G.A. Henty Short Stories, Vol. I. Jim has also recorded Rascal (published by Listening Library); Sea Biscuit (published by Blackstone Audio); The Story of the World, Volumes 1-4 (published by Peace Hill Press); a variety of Read-Along Book/CD Sets: Mole Music, The Treasure and Gregory’s Shadow (published by Live Oak Music), and numerous children’s and adult titles (published by Books on Tape). Jim’s most recent recordings (11/2009) are Julius Caesar and The Story of Rome and an unabridged reading of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch, by Jean Lee Latham.  Jim is also the author of a series of  historical fiction stories for young children that will be published in written and audio formats.
