Greater Olympia Ed-ventures - Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater
This group is open to both homeschoolers and virtual-schoolers primarily living within Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater.
Our activities range from meeting at the park to burn off some energy to organized learning fieldtrips. Our focus is on helping our children build close local friendships. For this reason, families living outside the greater Olympia area will have their membership request denied. New members are given a 14 day trial to view the groups activities before deciding to pay the dues and become a full member; at which time, they must adhere to the group policies.

PATCH is an inclusive homeschool group where each member’s beliefs and racial and cultural background are respected and valued at all of our activities and in all our gatherings. We seek to encourage a close-knit, active group by offering weekly co-op classes, field trips, and other opportunities for homeschooling families, in order to create lasting and supportive relationships. Because PATCH strives to minimize the cost of classes and activities, we rely on the volunteer efforts of our members who serve in administrative, teaching, and auxiliary roles. We aspire to establish and foster an effective relationship between military and civilian homeschoolers with the goal of helping current and incoming JBLM homeschooling families find timely and easily-accessed homeschool support in the larger community.
