Island and Snohomish Counties

The following groups or individuals have notified WHO that they offer local support groups, co-ops or other groups for homeschoolers. This is the only way WHO finds out about local support. So, if you are a member of a group, and your group is not listed on our web site, please tell us about your group and we will share the information. Email Homeschool Support with your information, and please include county or region. We would also appreciate notification of changes in your group, such as new contact people. Thank you.

Apples of Gold Speech and Debate Club (Bothell/Lynnwood/Edmonds)
Apples of Gold is a Christian speech and debate club. The primary focus is to enhance the student's critical thinking and communication skills. We have weekly meetings with dedicated and experienced coaches and parents who work with the students to instruct them in how to communicate and debate as well as provide a forum in which to practice and hone their skills. Camp Fire USA
2012-2013 –Adventure Homeschool Club – ages 8-1. ,We are a secular, co-ed (boys and girls), Educational, family oriented scouts club; we go on lots of exciting excursions, and of course camp in the late spring/summer.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Home Educators (Snohomish and North King Counties)

Trestle Homeschool Association is a non-profit group whose purpose is to provide a positive atmosphere to share information, resources, curricula ideas, testing information; to offer encouragement, support, and an arena to share experiences and challenges unique to homeschoolers as defined by Washington's Home-Based Instruction Law. Our membership includes families with a wide variety of reasons for, and methods of, homeschooling. THA extends membership to any family regardless of the method they choose to educate their children.
