Apples of Gold Speech and Debate Club (Bothell/Lynnwood/Edmonds)
Apples of Gold is a Lincoln Douglas (1 vs 1 values) debate club. No experience is necessary. We are committed to helping students achieve their goals and grow in skill, knowledge, and confidence throughout the year.  Students are encouraged to work together and spur one another on, building leadership experience, and teamwork. One of the great aspects of values debate is the deep thought and discussion it encourages. Students aged 12-18 can find new philosophical depths and examples throughout the year, but the amount of time and effort required is flexible since success is based upon the goals and interests of the student.  Meetings are Mondays, 7pm - 9pm in the Lynnwood area.  The cost is $75 per student per semester.  Contact for more information:  debate.aog@gmail.com

Strong Foundations Homeschool Co-op
We teach a student's core academic subjects which includes English, Math, History and Science from a Christian perspective. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9-2:00 in south Arlington, just off Hwy 9. Parents, while still involved in the learning process help with daily homework, but will not shoulder the daily burden of planning, teaching and evaluating. This leaves more time for creativity and supplementary experiences.

Both teachers have been teachers in the classroom, then were active in teaching their own four children for 16 years and currently  share subjects and levels to meet the needs of two groups of students 4-8th grade. Parents will drop off their child and help occasionally in the classroom for a very reasonable tuition. Check out our facebook page at Strong Foundations Homeschool Co-op, and contact us by cell phone at: Stephanie Rech- 425-422-0584, steprech2@msn.com or Janet Scarth- 425-923-8995  scarthdj@hotmail.com
